In my career of working with brands big and small (including Jeep, Nike, ESPN, Chicago Public Library, Ask Holly How, and MCA Chicago), I’ve experienced the most success when the marketing honors and works with the humans behind the businesses. If something doesn’t work for your personality or day-to-day energy, it won’t work for your business.
It’s why I embrace vulnerability, connection, humor, and substance over mindlessness, false urgency, or short-lived trends.
